Pint of Sambuca now most popular order in Barnsley Wetherspoons as parents limited to two alcoholic drinks

A pint of sambuca is now the most popular drink ordered by parents in a Barnsley Wetherspoons, a survey has revealed. The survey results come in the wake of news that the company are now limiting parents to two alcoholic drinks each if they have their children with them.
The chain say that the move is designed to deter “unruly behaviour” by children left unsupervised. It has been a crime since 1902 to be drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven in a public place. What you do with a child over seven in your own home is your own business apparently.
I think it’s very sensible” said Tracy Clunge as she ordered her second pint of the Italian liquer at the Wetherspoons outlet in Barnsley. “I bring my three in here most mornings because it saves putting the heating on. They’re no bother because I strap ‘em into their pushchairs. You do get some rough types though and this new rule will keep them in order.”
Tracy’s partner Kenny Agrees “I’ve just had one pint of Johnnie Walker this morning” he said “There’s no need to even push the new rules. And anyway, it’s enough when you’re driving.”
