Len All Set For Lookalike Loot!

A Maltby grandfather has been catapulted into an unexpected new career after being snapped up by a top lookalikes agency.
Former miner and doorman at the queens pub Len Hardy was walking to his local betting shop when he was stopped by a “poncey looking fella with a camera” who asked to take his picture.
“The next thing I knew, “ says Len “There was a letter on the doormat offering to put me on the books. I don’t think I look owt like him and nobody has mentioned it before, but they seem confident.”
Despite being taken on by the agency Len, who’s only other experience on the public stage was in 443 professional wrestling bouts in the 1960s where he fought as the Maltby Mauler, isn’t expecting to make a fortune from the new venture.
“I don’t think there’s going to be much work” he told us. “By all accounts, that bugger will turn up to the opening of an envelope.”
