Ant McPartlin Forced Into Rehab After Getting Caught Driving A Hairdresser’s Car

Ant McPartlin, one half of presenting duo Ant & Dec, was dramatically forced to stand down from presenting duties and seek proper medical help last night, after being caught driving a hairdresser’s car.
McPartlin crashed the car – some kind of twatting Mini – on Sunday afternoon, and no doubt hoped to quietly pay off the other driver, keep his reputaion, and get on with his life. It was only thanks to the quick thinking of a police officer who smelled alcohol on his breath, and the nosiness of a nearby rubber-necker, taking a photo with an iPhone, that the star was exposed as the driver of a car which nobody who doesn’t wield scissors for a living should ever own – unless they’re an estate agent.
“I forgave him for his drug dependency last year and even for dumping his loyal wife.” said one fan who asked not to be named “But what kind of man drives a car like that? What kind of man? I just hope he gets the help he needs, but I’m not sure there’s any way back from this He’s finished.”
As the Bugle went to press, there was rabid speculation about how long this had been going on, and who knew about it. Presenting partner Dec Donnelly was remaining tight lipped when we tried to speak to him at his Whitley Bay caravan, as were all our contacts at the BBC who seem determined to keep the scandal under wraps.
