96 Year Old Man Admitted To Hospital But Unlikely To Be Pissed About

A 96 year old man, who was admitted to hospital for hip surgery today, is unlikely to be pissed about or given the run-around it has been revealed.
His operation will not be cancelled or delayed and will take place at exactly the time and place it was scheduled. There will be a room and bed ready for him on his arrival and on no account will he be dumped in a ‘non designated bed space area’ – otherwise known as a corridor for even a minute.
Everything will be done to make his stay in hospital as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He will be treated with dignity and respect. Nobody will ignore him, talk down to him or leave him with the impression that he’s an inconvenience and lucky to be getting any treatment at all.
A spokesperson for the entire country said “He’s an old man, that’s exactly how it should be. That’s exactly how it should be for everyone. Best health service in the world? My arse.”
