Banner Manufacturer Faces Ruin Unless Wenger Announces He’s Gay

A banner manufacturer says he faces financial ruin following the departure of Arsene Wenger from Arsenal. Richard Head from north London runs Dick’s Banners and says that the ‘Wenger Out’ banner has been his best seller for the last 10 years, but the Frenchman’s unexpected departure has left his business teetering on the edge.
“We’d just invested in a big run of the 2018-19 season ‘Wenger Out’ banner” he told us “Sales have been growing year on year and the kids were pestering their parents for the new season banner. It looked like being our best selling ‘Wenger Out’ banner yet, but now we’ve had the rug whipped out from under us.”
Mr Head says he can only see one way of shifting the banners and saving the company. “We’re just hoping and praying that Arsene announces he’s gay” he said “It’s a bit of a long shot, but it’s the only way I can see us shifting the stock – unless he gets the Sunderland job.”
