American Population Concussed During 2016 Presidential Election

The entire US population sustained a concussion during the 2016 presidential election it has been revealed. Experts have been at a loss to explain the electorates dire performance during the election which resulted in Donald Trump becoming president. But now documents relating to tests carried out just after the polls closed, have revealed that the Nation had received a collective bang on the head.
“It’s highly likely that the injury affected performance” said Dr Robert Paisley from The Sir William Shankley Hospital in Liverpool who for some reason, has become an exert in this kind of injury. “The American population appears to have temporarily lost the ability to process the information necessary to do its job correctly, and this is consistent with a right old bang on the noggin.”
The American population received a barrage of abuse and vitriol in the aftermath of the election result, with much of it going into hiding, and it’s now hoped that this new information will lead to some level of understanding and forgiveness.
