Campaign To Make Burka Compulsory In Barnsley Gathers Pace

The campaign to make the Burka a compulsory item of clothing in Barnsley, was gathering pace tonight. Following an unprecedented push which has united the left, the right and those who don’t give a shit, a 100,000 signature petition was handed into Barnsley town hall, where it was received by the lady Mayoress, Sylvia Potts (58) who made her feeling known by unceremoniously stuffing the document into the ample cleavage pouring out of her Spandex boob tube.
Sid Cooper who started the campaign explained some of the thinking behind it “Let’s be honest,” he said “most of what’s on show round here would be better covered up. Less is more – well no, less is less. But less is better. We think a move to the Burka would be better for everyone – apart from purveyors of skin tight leggings, plus sized party dresses and depilatory creams that is.”
As The Bugle went to press, the authenticity of a signature on the petition which appears to read ‘Boris Johnson’, was being assessed by experts.
