Man Who Won’t Leave Restaurant Tip ‘On Principle’ Exposed As Just A Tight Bastard

A Rotherham man who claims he doesn’t leave tips in restaurants on principle, has been exposed as a total tight arse this morning.
Mick Ash, 48, from Bramley has always maintained that waiting staff don’t get to keep the tips and so he refuses to line the restaurant owners pockets, but when we spoke to Mick’s friends and family a broader picture started to emerge.
“That man would cut a raisin in half.” said one drinking mate who asked not to be named “He’s the sort of bloke who’s last into the pub and first out of a taxi. His nicknames Roger because of all the rounds he’s dodged.”
And there was little support from Micks wife Karen either. “Mick always insists on splitting the bill accurately in restaurants and working out exactly who’s had what drinks, starters and desserts.” she said “It certainly takes the edge off a romantic dinner for two, I can tell you.”
We tried to speak to Mick to get his side of the story, but Karen said he was too busy doing some electrical work on a streetlight near their Flanderwell Lane home, to speak to our reporter.
