Further Blow For Tourism In Salisbury As Town Receives One Star Review On Trip Advisor

It’s known for its historic cathedral and proximity to world-renowned Stonehenge, but tourism bosses in Salisbury were reeling this week after the town unexpectedly received a one star review on Trip Advisor.
A site user, identifying himself only as Alexander, criticised the towns “confusing road network” and “slushy pavements” before revealing that the Wiltshire town was so disappointing that he only stayed for an hour before catching a train back to London.
“We were hoping to visit the cathedral” the review went on“ but somehow ended up on a boring housing estate on the wrong side of town. The tourist office should invest in signage and not rely on visitors being able to see the 123 metre spire. I have a dodgy neck and can’t look up. I’d have given them no stars if it was an option.”
A spokesperson for Tourism Salisbury said “We’ve had a rough few months, and this is another big blow. We need to up our game.”
As The Bugle went to press, there were rumours that a one star review for a pizza restaurant in the town, was also in the Trip Advisor pipeline.
