May Asks Duke Of Edinburgh If He Can Crash His Car Again

Prime Minister, Theresa May, is understood to have been in touch with the Duke Of Edinburgh this evening, to ask if he can see his way clear to crashing his car again. Mrs May is understood to be delighted that Brexit has been pushed off the front pages for the first time in weeks, and sees another pile up as the perfect media distraction.
A Downing Street insider told The Bugle, “The crash was a real shot in the arm for us and the fact that the Duke was unhurt is a bonus – it means he could do it again. “
As The Bugle went to press, Mrs May had yet to receive a reply from the Duke and was considering a back-up plan involving Ant & Dec and a vintage steam roller.
