Home Secretary To Withdraw Wayne Rooney’s Citizenship

The Bugle understands that Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, has taken the first steps in a move to withdraw Wayne Rooney’s UK citizenship. The former England footballer left the UK in 2018 to pursue a career in the American soccer league. It’s understood his subsequent behaviour, including being arrested for drunkenness and pissing off the sainted Colleen has angered the Home Secretary sufficiently to resist any attempts to re-enter the country.
A Home Office insider told The Bugle “The potato headed twat is a national embarrassment. He’s got some Irish blood somewhere. They can have him. It will put all this backstop shite into perspective.”
We tried to get a comment from Rooney but a spokesperson said he was away on a humanitarian visit to what was described as an “old people’s facility” near to his new home in Washington DC.
