Woman With Ear-Splitting Laugh Will Be At Nearby Restaurant Table, New Study Reveals

A woman with a laugh like a misfiring road drill will almost certainly be sitting at the next restaurant table to you, it has been revealed. Anyone eating out will have experienced the phenomenon and thought themselves unlucky. But it appears not. It happens to everyone.
Researchers at the Institute Of Advanced Irritation have identified the phenomenon, but are unsure whether it is always the same women, or a series of women working together, with an as yet, unidentified agenda.
“It’s strange,” said Professor Thomas Chuckle who headed up the study “There are very few sightings of this women…or women…outside of the restaurant environment, but sit down in a nice eatery for a quiet meal and she will suddenly appear without warning, shattering the calm with her inane, peace-destroying cackle. We don’t know why.”
The professor is calling for restaurant owners to eject the woman at the first sign of a giggle, or at least offer fellow diners a discount. “In an ideal situation, we’d like the woman’s partner to be proactive, and not inflict her on other diners.” said the professor. “On the other hand, it’s possible he’s in on it, and takes some kind of perverse pleasure from the whole thing. That’s another theory we’re investigating.”
