Anthony Joshua is expected to be in action again before Christmas following Saturdays shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jnr, his promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed.

Hearn says talks are at an early stage but venues like Clacton, Great Yarmouth and Burnham-On-Crouch are already being mooted for mid December . “A lot depends on storylines in Hollyoaks, and Les Dennis has yet to declare his hand this year, “ said a determined Hearn “but we’re confident of getting a deal over the line. Obviously Saturday was disappointing but big Frank has given us a template of where we need to go with Anthony now.”

As the Bugle went to press, rumours that Uri Geller had influenced the result by re-channelling the spirit of Audley Harrison were still circulating.
