Chris Rea’s Christmas Plans Thrown Into Turmoil As Car Fails MOT

Chris Rea’s Christmas plans were dealt a massive blow this morning when his car failed it’s annual MOT test. The star had been planning to drive home for Christmas as usual, but now that looks unlikely, unless he can get the track rod ends fixed sharpish.
A spokesperson for the Middlesbrough born singer told The Bugle, “The MOT Inspection requires that if the ball joint dust cover is deteriorated to the extent that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt, then that’s a fail. Chris accepts that, but he’s disappointed. Rest assured he’ll be pulling out all the stops in the coming days.”
