Barnsley Man Comes Out as Sexually Binary

A Barnsley man has come out as completely binary and has asked to be addressed by the pronouns Thee and Thy. Pete Postlethump, 47, writing on the Notice Board of The Barnsley & District Cribbage League said, “It’s been a lifelong complete lack of struggle and I am embracing who I am. I’m a bloke. And I like lasses. I’ve heard people talk about it all being a spectrum. Fluid or summut. Bollocks. I am totally binary. A bloke. Man. Male. F****** happy about it n’all!”
In the Royal Hotel following an away match he went further “I have at no stage just yet, had the chance to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be binary in modern Barnsley, but my intention is to be visible and open”
Postlethump pledged to answer questions that followers of the Barnsley & District Cribbage League may have, and cited ‘activists and leaders of the Binary/non-trans community’ who had aided his understanding of gender identity – among them a local Copper who gave him a clip round the ear for picking on a girl and his father who had always told him not to be such a massive Jessie.
A spokesperson for Stonewall told the Rotherham Bugle: “We’re delighted that Pete Postlethump feels able to speak openly about thee/thy gender identity. Sadly we know that it is still far too hard for people to be openly Binary and accepted for who they are, and we will keep campaigning until every ordinary person who doesn’t feel the need to make out they are really special and unique can be accepted in society.”
We tried to speak to Pete’s wife Patricia, but she was reported to be tied up trying to find “these other Lasses” her husband had mentioned.
