Barnsley Mums Urged To Put On Extra Pair Of Pyjamas For School Run As Cold Snap Forecast

Mums in the Barnsley area were being urged to consider putting on an extra pair of pyjamas for the school run this week, as temperatures were forecast to tumble.
Fred Chillman from the met office told The Bugle “We’re expecting temperatures close to freezing later this week, even at half nine when the Barnsley mums typically get their lumpen arses out of bed. So the de rigueur Primarni worn-thin specials aren’t really going to cut it, especially when teamed up with a pair of crimson fluffy open toed slippers. We’re recommending that they at least wear an extra pair of jimjams with socks, topped off with a fluffy dressing gown for extra warmth.”
Tracey Clunge, a mum of six from Wombwell says she is well-prepared for the inclement weather. “I like to to get a fag on before I leave the house to get a bit of warmth into my lungs” she said “But if it’s too cold we’ll all just stay in bed. You can’t be too careful.”
