Barnsley Set To Be Deported Under New Points Based System
2020-02-19
The entire town of Barnsley looks set to be deported this evening, as the consequences of the new immigration points based system starts to emerge.
Following Britain’s exit from the EU, anyone wishing to live and work in the UK must accumulate a minimum of 70 points to qualify for a visa . Points can be gained by displaying a high useful skill level, the wherewithal to secure a well paid job offer, and the ability to speak the English language.
“Let’s face it, Barnsley is on a sticky wicket.” said a spokesperson for the government department administering the new scheme. “Fly tipping and dogging site management are not useful skills as defined in the policy document. You have to apply for a job to get one, and as far as language is concerned – well as long as they continue to speak Dingle, there’ll be no points awarded for that either.”
The Bugle understands that flights could start moving people out of the town as early as next week. with people from a similar sized town in Poland taking their place in the coming weeks.
