Officials make Ed Sheeran subject of Unexplained Wealth Order after listening to his album

Ed Sheeran has been made the subject of an unexplained wealth order this morning after government officials listened to his latest album.
An unexplained wealth order is a court order issued by a British court which requires the subject to reveal the sources of their unexplained wealth. Anyone who fails to account is liable to have assets seized. Sheeran is said to be worth £160m.
An insider told The Bugle “We listened to several of his albums, but we may as well have just listened to the one because they’re all the same and they’re all shite. So where he got the £160 million from is anyone’s guess. He’ll have to explain.”
The order against Sheeran is the latest in a series targeting household names including Piers Morgan, Alan Carr and the Sheffield Wednesday 2019-20 championship squad.
