Teenager’s bedroom remains in lockdown as occupant continues to self-isolate

A teenager’s bedroom remains in lockdown this afternoon as the occupant continues to self-isolate. Tyrone Clunge, 16, hasn’t been seen by the rest of his family since May last year when he was forced out in search of food after his mum forgot to bring his dinner up. His door was firmly shut with only muffled sounds from within when our reporter visited the family home this afternoon.

“As far as I know he spends his time playing Call Of Duty and trawling free pornography on the internet” said dad Kenny “but it’s really hard to tell. He grunts through the door occasionally and there’s a strange smell coming out of there but we think it’s best not to delve too deeply. He seems to be eating and happy enough in a morose couldn’t-give-a-shit kind of way, so he’s best left.”

As The Bugle went to press, government officials were understood to be trying to contact Tyrone for advice on how people might best cope should quarantine become more widely advised during the Coronavirus outbreak.
