Covid-19 perfect excuse for not visiting granny, say twats

The Covid-19 virus has given twats up and down the country, the perfect excuse not to visit grandparents and other ageing relatives it emerges. Twats who would otherwise have felt duty bound to call on parents, grandparents and other older members of the family, have been given a killer get-out and are milking it for all they’re worth.
“Okay, I might not be showing any symptoms, but that doesn’t mean I’m not the 1 in 20,000 whose got this virus and it hasn’t come out yet” said one twat who asked not to be named. “I simply don’t want to risk being in the same room as my granny and have told her I won’t be visiting for the foreseeable. She said she’d rather take the risk than die of loneliness but I’m self-isolating her whether she likes it or not.”
As The Bugle went to press, the twat was using the time he’d normally be visiting his grandmother to watch the Liverpool match.
