Stay at home unless you’re going out, public warned

The gravity of the situation faced by the nation was underlined last night as the public were warned that they must stay at home unless they are going out. Clarifying the already clear message delivered in Sunday nights TV address Prime minister Boris Johnson emphasised that unless you are absolutely going out, you should stay at home.
“I want to be very clear that unless you’re going out for any reason you should definitely stay at home, if you can” he said. “People should not be leaving the house for any other reason than going out.”
Mr Johnson also took the opportunity to clarify the position on masks. “Hell, if you’re nifty with a sewing machine, got a bit of time on your hands and want to repurpose an old T shirt, why not? Doubt it will do any good but it’s something to take your mind off this shit show and at least nobody will know you haven’t shaved.” he said.
Anyone flouting the new instructions will be fined.
