Leeds United fans to be muzzled if they’re promoted to premier league

In an unprecedented and unexpected move, premier league bosses have today announced that Leeds United fans will be forced to wear muzzles if they return to the top tier. With the season about to recommense and Leeds sitting at the top of the Championship table, the Premiership have acted swiftly to try to minimise the potential danger to fans of opposing sides.
“The safety of fans attending games is paramount” a spokesperson for the premiership told The Bugle. “We’re already battling with how to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak, but this is on a whole new level. We’ll be asking Leeds fans to wear muzzles home and away.”
The Bugle understands that the possibility of making some exemptions for the over eighties and anyone without teeth was considered, but it was still considered too dangerous.
