Parents Fury As Arsenal Launch New 2018-19 ‘Wenger Out’ Banner

Parents were up in arms last night after Arsenal launched their new home ‘Wenger Out’ banner for the 2018-19 season. It’s the eighth home banner in as many seasons, and the twenty seventh all told, if you include versions for all competitions.
“It’s an outrage,” said Tony Cockney from some God-forsaken shithole in North London “I bought this seasons ‘Wenger Out’ banner for my lad back in August and then he wanted the away banner for Christmas. I can remember the days when you’d have one ‘Wenger Out’ banner for several seasons, home and away. Not any more.”
And other supporters aren’t happy with the price. Jack Chit, a frustrated glory seeker who travels in from Peterborough for home games with his son said “What they’re charging next season is outrageous. I’ve got a mate who’s an Everton fan and the ‘Allardice Out’ banners are half the price and they’re using the same ones home and away. The new home banner is almost identical to the 2014-15 away banner anyway. But what can you do, the kids want the latest banner?”
All of this seemed to be falling on deaf ears at The Emirates, where a Nike sponsored launch event was being planned with special guests Tony Adams and Robert Pires. An insider revealed, that there are contingency plans in place for a European ‘Wenger Out’ banner for next season, should Liverpool win the Champions League trophy this year and free up another place.
