Hezbollah Announce Plans For Retaliatory Song Following Israeli Success In Eurovision

Hezbollah this morning announced plans to launch a retaliatory song following Israel’s success in this weekends Eurovision song contest in Lisbon, Portugal.

A spokesperson for the group confirmed that they are unhappy about Israel’s incursion into European territory, and intend to launch their own offensive. Although plans are at a very early stage, the Bugle understands that Hezbollah are currently torn between versions of Brotherhood Of Man’s, ‘ Save All Your Kisses For Me’ and ‘Making Your Mind Up’ by Bucks Fizz.

“We’ve had a quick run through of ‘Making Your Mind Up’” the spokesman told us, “and we’ll be making it our own. “The bit where the boys whip the long skirts off the girls to reveal mini skirts, will be replaced.  In our version, the boys whip burka’s off the girls, only  to reveal a slightly longer burka underneath.”

We approached Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn for comment, but someone in his office said that while he thought the Israeli song was ‘perfectly pleasent’,  he was staying well out of it.
