Sandi Toksvig ‘Only A Fraction’ As Funny As Stephen Fry

QI host Sandi Toksvig told a shocked Women’s Equality Party Conference this week, that she is paid ‘only a fraction’ of the fee earned by the previous host, Stephen Fry. There were audible gasps in the auditorium when the presenter revealed that she is is paid 40% of the amount Fry used to earn.
A spokesperson for producers Freemantle Media was approached for comment, but unfortunately didn’t have the balls to say, “Look it’s got sod all to do with gender. At best she’s about 20% as funny as Fry, so by my reckoning she’s overpaid and should think herself lucky. She only got the job because the BBC said we had to have a lesbian and Sue Perkins was busy.”
We approached Sandi for comment, but a spokesperson said she was busy looking for more things to get angry about.
