Thurcroft Man To End Years Of Ridicule With Name Change Decision

A Rotherham frying pan salesman says he is set to change his name after suffering years of ridicule, and abuse.
Richard Head 27 from Thurcroft says his name has been a source of embarrassment from his early school days and now he intends putting an end to it once and for all.
“I’ve had enough now”, he told us, “Whenever I introduce myself, you can see people stifling a laugh. You can hear the sniggering behind your back. Well it’s going to stop now. I’m not taking it any more.”
Richard has already submitted the necessary legal papers to change his name by deed poll and his new life as Michael Hunt starts at the beginning of April, but he has yet to decide whether he will be known as Mick or Mike.
“This is a new start for me,” Richard told us “there’ll be no stopping me now. I’ve even got a new job selling wood burning stoves.”
